About Me

My curiosity about the psychology of relationships and emotional experience led me to pursue a career in psychotherapy and begin a lifelong commitment to learning and growth in this field. I believe therapy is both an art and a science—combining clinical knowledge with a thoughtful and compassionate understanding of each person’s unique story.

I am a licensed psychologist in Washington and a Washington State Approved Supervisor. I specialize in working with individuals and couples and have advanced training in sex therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and somatic psychotherapy. Much of my work centers on relationships, intimacy, and the connection between emotional experiences and the body. I help clients better understand the patterns that shape their lives and develop new ways of relating to themselves and others.

My approach to therapy is integrative and grounded in evidence-based practices, drawing from attachment-based, relational, mindfulness, and body-focused approaches. While theory and technique are important, I believe the most meaningful change occurs within a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship where clients feel understood and supported.

I approach my work through a holistic lens, recognizing that emotional well-being is shaped by many interconnected aspects of life—our relationships, personal history, environment, and the mind–body connection. Therapy can help bring greater awareness to these influences and open the door to new ways of responding and relating.

I have worked in a variety of clinical settings and bring over a decade of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families. I also provide a sex-positive and affirming therapeutic space and welcome individuals and couples of diverse identities and relationship structures, including LGBTQIA+, kink, and consensually non-monogamous communities.

My Philosophy of Therapy

I believe meaningful change often begins with greater awareness. Many of the patterns that shape our emotions, relationships, and behaviors develop gradually and can operate outside of our conscious understanding. Therapy offers a space to slow down, reflect, and explore these experiences with curiosity and compassion.

As insight grows, new possibilities begin to emerge. Clients often find they can respond to themselves and others with greater flexibility, connection, and resilience. My role is to support this process within a thoughtful and collaborative therapeutic relationship where exploration and lasting change can unfold.

What It’s Like to Work With Me

Clients often describe our work together as thoughtful, collaborative, and grounded in curiosity. Therapy provides space to slow down and explore the experiences, emotions, and relational dynamics that shape your life. My goal is to create an environment where you feel safe, respected, and supported in speaking openly about what matters most.

I approach therapy with both warmth and depth. Together we may explore patterns in relationships, emotional responses, and the ways past experiences influence the present. At times our work may involve developing new skills or perspectives; at other times it may simply involve creating space to reflect and process in a meaningful way.

Above all, I believe therapy works best when it feels collaborative and authentic. My role is not to tell you who you should be, but to support you in developing deeper understanding so meaningful and lasting change can occur.

A Personal Note

Outside of my work as a psychologist, I value time with my family, staying active, and creating space for reflection and balance. I believe growth is a lifelong process, and I try to bring the same curiosity and openness to my own life that I encourage in therapy. These experiences continue to shape the way I understand resilience, relationships, and meaningful change.
